Hi, Iām Alex, Iām an electronics professional and hobbyist. I got the PhD from the University of Calgary in 2022 and have been at NXP Semiconductors since then. My broad interest is anything involving electrons or photons. More specifically, I enjoy anything that involving transistors. My main interests are in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs). My current focus as been on photonics/electro-optics in CMOS, with applications in quantum computing, and scientific instrumentation. However, this is subject to change on a whim.
